Algorithm Geography

The project started with some experimental treatment of the aerial view of my hometown. It started with the idea that in which way or rules to transcribe the satellite map could affect the conveying of information. Surprisingly, many unexpected violent modifications done by artificial intelligence, especially on lakes and rivers, show up and I started to complete my work with the idea that “what has been erased”. In the background, the water sound indicates the existence of erased water and questions what kind of information that a map should convey. Overall, I really enjoyed the process of self-exploring and seeing how “unexpected accidents” guide my work and make it grow.
